Rooster Booster Multi-Fl For medium to large or multiple hen houses

Fluorescent strip light system for medium to large hen houses. One 8-watt strip light is found to be effective in houses up to 8ft x 20ft (2.5m x 6m). For larger or multiple houses, within a 65ft (20m) radius of the controller, connect up to four more Fl or St extension lamps to the controller to meet the lighting requirements. (It is ok to combine both types of lamps)

  • Timer controller complete with, 3-amp fused battery lead, 5-amp fused output terminals.
  • 9-volt backup battery, LED indicator and push button.
  • 8-watt Fluorescent lamp with connecting terminal block.
  • Light sensor assembly.
  • Light sensor mounting clip.
  • Spare 3 and 5 amp fuse.
  • Fixing screws.
  • Operating instruction

*Please note, extension cable is not supplied with the Rooster Booster multi. 2.5mm electrical cable is recomended

How long between charges using one lamp

30Ah Battery, 6 days. 85Ah Battery, 16 days. 120Ah Battery, 24 days. For more than one lamp devide the days by number of lamps.

  • The extension lamp terminals are for connecting the extension lamps, please note you should not exceed more than 4-Amps.
  • The power lead has 2 battery clips fitted to the ends. The red positive (+) lead has an in-line fuse holder with a 3-Amp fuse fitted as standard.
  • The sensor lead has a light sensitive device at the end, which needs to be positioned so that it can monitor the daylight. It is also important to place it in a relatively dry location.
  • The push button is used to interact with the timer if desired. (For further information on this please refer to the user guide.)
  • The LED flashes to indicate that the unit is operating. Also it provides feedback on current status when used with the push button.
