8W/16W 12v fluorescent lamp Specification
24mm deep, Polarity protected with Integral switch
Using a high efficiency inverter, the fluorescent lamp produces very high levels of light for the power consumed. A recess at each end allows installation without lens removal, and the clip-on design means that tubes can be replaced without removing or dismantling the light. The switch is sunken into the lens to minimise height.
The fluorescent lamp is available in 8-Watt and twin 8-Watt (16-Watt) versions.

Temperature and the state of your battery will have an effect on light out put and tube life.
AS a guide one 8-watt fluorescent lamp seems to be effective in hen houses up to 8 foot x 20 foot (2.4 metres x 6 Metres)
Changing the tubes
- Unclip the diffuser (retaining clips are positioned in the middle and at each end, take care not to crack the diffuser) using a small screwdriver to unclip the end away from the switch then the middle.
- Remove old tube and replace with new one.
- Clip the diffuser back on.
